About the Job
Done Right Chimney is looking for a dependable, hands-on person to join our field team.
You do not need previous chimney experience. We are willing to train the right person who shows up, works safely, takes direction well, and wants to learn a skilled trade.
This is active, physical work. Our technicians work on chimney, hearth, venting, masonry, and fireplace/stove-related projects throughout Western Massachusetts.
What you’ll help with:
- Carrying and staging tools, ladders, materials, and equipment.
- Setting up and cleaning up job sites.
- Assisting technicians with chimney inspections and sweeping.
- Assisting with chimney repairs, liners, caps, venting systems, and light masonry.
- Working with hand and power tools.
- Keeping trucks, tools, and job sites clean and organized.
- Taking job-site photos and assisting with basic documentation.
- Working outdoors in changing weather.
- Working respectfully in and around customers’ homes.
You may be a good fit if you have experience in:
- Construction.
- Landscaping.
- Roofing.
- Flooring.
- Masonry.
- Maintenance.
- Warehouse or material handling.
- Delivery or moving.
- Automotive/mechanical work.
- HVAC or another skilled trade.
Direct experience is helpful, but it is not required.

- Take pride in keeping a clean, organized job site.
- Respect customers, their homes, coworkers, tools, and equipment.

- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to our Haydenville shop.
Schedule:
Generally Monday–Friday, approximately 32–40 hours per week. Occasional Saturdays may be available or needed.

Starting Pay:
$18–$22/hour depending on relevant experience.
