Apprentice Laborer — Paid Training Provided
Done Right Chimney is hiring an Apprentice Laborer to join our field team.
No chimney experience is required. Paid training is provided.
This is a hands-on, full-time job for someone who likes working outdoors, staying active, using tools, and learning new skills. You will help experienced technicians on job sites while learning chimney, fireplace, masonry, and venting work over time.
This may be a good fit if you have experience in landscaping, construction, warehouse work, delivery, moving, farm work, custodial work, food service, retail lot work, maintenance, or other hands-on jobs.

What You’ll Do:
- Help technicians on job sites.
- Carry tools, ladders, materials, and equipment.
- Set up and clean up work areas.
- Help keep job sites neat and organized.
- Work outdoors in different weather.
- Learn to use tools and equipment properly.
- Assist with chimney and fireplace-related work.
- Take photos and help with basic job notes.
- Follow directions and company procedures.
- Treat customers, homes, coworkers, and tools with respect.
- Learn more responsibility over time.

- Able to follow directions.

- Honest when you do not know something.

- Interested in learning a skilled trade..
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Helpful Experience, But Not Required
You may be a good fit if you have done any of the following:
- Landscaping.
- Construction helper work.
- Warehouse work.
- Farm work.
- Moving or delivery work.
- Maintenance.
- Cleaning or custodial work.
- Retail lot or garden center work.
- Food service or other fast-paced team work.
- Basic hand tool or power tool use.
- Trade school or shop classes.
Physical Requirements
This is a physical field job. Applicants should be able to:
- Lift and carry tools, materials, and equipment.
- Work outdoors in heat, cold, and changing weather.
- Stand, bend, kneel, carry, and move throughout the workday.
- Learn to work around ladders, rooftops, and scaffolding after training.
- Follow company procedures and job-site safety expectations.
